The story inside an image

More than pixels.

Every image has two layers: what we can see, and information we normally cannot. Traditional EXIF metadata can record the camera, lens, date, editing software and even GPS coordinates.

Newer Content Credentials can add a signed history of how an image was created or changed. Some AI systems also declare their origin or apply invisible watermarks such as SynthID.

These signals can provide useful evidence—but silence is not proof. Metadata can be removed, copied or altered. This experiment helps you read the clues without pretending they tell the whole story.
